On Friday 8 November, Max Holden (º£½ÇÉçÇø) and Zoe Christie (Exeter) joined an eventÌýorganised by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the Goethe Institut in London for the launch of ''. Both students are on theÌý, which pairs students in German with younger learners in schools.
The book, written by Christiane Günther andÌýAndrea Schweizer andÌýillustrated byÌýAxel Scheffler,Ìýis aimed at primary school students. It tells the story of Wuschel, a friendly alien who arrivesÌýon Earth with a singular purpose: to learn German. The Goethe Institut commissioned the book and has made it available to UK schools alongside German lesson plans and audio teaching aids.
