Research Strategy Committee

The Research Strategy Committee (RSC) is a standing committee of the MMLL Faculty Board which deals with all aspects of research in the Faculty.听One of its main functions is to assist with and coordinate applications for research funding. The majority of research grant applications from the Faculty must be submitted through the听听of the University.听

All applications must be submitted to the RSC via the Research Grants Coordinator (researchadmin@mmll.cam.ac.uk), accompanied by the听cover sheet听and a draft of your application.
听
All applications must meet both internal and external deadlines for submission, or risk not being approved. The deadlines are as follows:
- External funder deadline (where relevant): see relevant funder webpages.
- Internal ROO deadline: 2-7 days before the funder deadline (see for information).
- Internal RSC听(MMLL) deadline: up to 14听working days before the funder deadline (see below).

Applications under 拢60k听must be forwarded to the RSC (via the Research Grants Coordinator), with approval of the relevant Director of Section, for information.
Applications between 拢60k听and 拢1m听require formal approval by the Chair of RSC in consultation with relevant members of the committee. The full application must be submitted to the RSC听at least five days听before the ROO deadline.
Applications of 拢1m and over听require formal approval by the full RSC. The full application must be submitted to the听RSC听at least seven days听before the ROO deadline.
