In this symposium Mendonça Filho will discuss his new untitled film project, inÌýprogress, which deals with the home in which he grew up. StephanieÌýDennison, Tiago de Luca and Lúcia Nagib will give presentations on intimacyÌýand cordiality, class and class conflict, and the politics of horizontality andÌýverticality as articulated in the work of Kleber Mendonça Filho, reflecting onÌýquestions surrounding Brazilian nationhood and film.
