We condemn the Kremlin's ongoing invasion of Ukraine unequivocally and in the strongest terms. We express our solidarity with the people of Ukraine and call on the international community to support Ukraine in the face of this unprovoked war of aggression.听We also think of those in and from Russia equally horrified by these events.

We remain firmly committed in the Slavonic Studies Section to the production of knowledge that fosters mutual understanding and peaceful relations in Europe.听We are proud to teach Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish languages and cultures alongside one another in our Section.听
听
We call for the immediate withdrawal of Russia's military forces from Ukraine, and for peace.
