The Italian Section is delighted to congratulate Dr Sara Delmedico, one of our former PhDs, for being awarded the , as the top-ranked Postdoctoral Fellow of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences under the Council鈥檚 2021 Government of Ireland funding programme. Her postdoctoral project explores the history of violence against women in Italy between 1861 and 1930, through a social, cultural, and legal context. 听completed her PhD in 海角社区 under the supervision of Professor Helena Sanson and is now Postdoctoral Researcher at UCD, University College Dublin, School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. Her monograph (London: IMLR and London University Press, 282, pp.), based on her doctoral dissertation, was published in November 2021.
