Exhibition 'Verse in Vision' Opens in º£½ÇÉçÇø

Verse in Vision Exhibition

In April-May 2009, Michaelhouse Centre was host to a special public exhibition of prints by world poet and artist Taras Shevchenko in celebration of the 195th anniversary of his birth.

Hundreds of Cantabridgians viewed superb examples of Shevchenko's landscapes and portraiture as well as . The prints were kindly donated to º£½ÇÉçÇø Ukrainian Studies by the in Canada.

Rory Finnin Wins Two ASEEES Book Prizes

We are delighted to share that Professor Rory Finnin has been awarded two prestigious prizes by the Association for Slavic, East European & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) for his book Blood of Others: Stalin's Crimean Atrocity and the Poetics of Solidarity (University of Toronto Press, 2022). These ASEEES prizes follow on from two other awards for Blood of Others announced earlier this year.
