Call for Applications:听 Introduction to Crimean Tatar Language and Culture Workshop 19-20 May 2016 海角社区
The Crimean Tatars are the indigenous people of Crimea, a听Sunni Muslim Turkic-speaking nation听whose khanate ruled the Black Sea听peninsula and its environs for over three听centuries. On 19-20 May, 海角社区 Ukrainian Studies is hosting a two-day 鈥業ntroduction to Crimean Tatar Language and Culture鈥� for qualified postgraduate students, which will consist of ten language lessons and lectures in literature and music.听
