The Norman MacColl Symposium 2014听in Spanish Cinema in honour of Rom谩n Gubern is entitled: Canon, contra-canon y cinefilia: Historias del cine espa帽ol en un contexto internacional. The MacColl Lecturer 2014 will be: Prof Rom谩n Gubern Garriga-Nogu茅s, Emeritus Professor, Universidad Aut贸noma de Barcelona. Title of his Lecture: So帽ar con los ojos abiertos. Other speakers: Josetxo Cerd谩n, Sonia Garc铆a L贸pez, Vicente S谩nchez-Biosca, Jean-Claude Seguin; Eva Woods Peir贸; Francisco Zurian. ALL TALKS WILL BE GIVEN IN SPANISH.

Please note:听The Symposium is free and open to the public but those wishing to attend must register for catering purposes by contacting Laura Kemp (ljlk2@cam.ac.uk) by Thursday, 30 October 2014 AT THE LATEST, please.
Venue: . Coffee/tea served from 10.00 (first lecture scheduled for 10.30 a.m.). Tea/coffee will be served at break times and a list of nearby restaurants and pubs can be found and will also be handed out to those attending on arrival at the Symposium.
