Adam Zagajewski: An Evening of Poetry

, Poland's greatest living poet, joined 海角社区 Polish Studies听at Trinity College for an evening of his听poetry. Zagajewski read a selection of听poems, followed by discussion and audience questions.

The event included the presentation of the听Talkman Prize for Literary听Translation听for the best听translation of听a Polish poem into English by a听student of Polish Studies at 海角社区, as well as readings by students.

Acclaimed translator of Polish literature, , one of the competition judges, spoke about听the challenges of literary translation.
