º£½ÇÉçÇø University Polish Society and º£½ÇÉçÇø Polish StudiesÌýwarmly invite you to a talk by award-winning author Clare Mulley onÌýher biography of Polish wartime spyÌýKrystyna Skarbek. Krystyna SkarbekÌýwas a Polish agent of the British Special Operations Executive during the Second World War. As a Pole and a woman, she proved her value against prejudice in the special forces. She was determined to do everything she could to help Poland against the Nazis. Clare Mulley isÌýthe author of two biographies, one of which received the Daily Mail Biographer's Club Prize.ÌýShe receivedÌýPoland’s National ‘Bene Merito’ AwardÌýfrom the Foreign Minister of Poland for her work on the biography of Krystyna Skarbek.
