The Year Abroad, which undergraduates in Modern & Medieval Languages and History & Modern languages typically undertake in their third year, is to be the focus of a hosted by Fitzwilliam College.
Speaking at the event will be Professor Charles Forsdick,听Drapers Professor of French at the Faculty and Lead Fellow for Languages at the British Academy; Carey Allan, UK diplomat and former deputy news editor at the听Sunday Times; Jade Cuttle,听BBC New Generation Thinker and AHRC-funded 海角社区 researcher; Philip Dodds,听European Head of Client Relationship Management (Global Markets) at UBS; and Dillon Mapletoft,听writer, creator and executive producer of the Channel 4 original comedy series Everyone Else Burns.
