All are welcome to two events supported by the Society for French Studies, the º£½ÇÉçÇø and the University of Birmingham.
Sandra Moussempès is a French poet whose work draws upon upon ancient figures, such as Lilith and Cassandra, and contemporary film and art, like the works of Cindy Sherman and David Lynch, in order to conjure spectral voices and feminine doubles. Through these ancient and contemporary resonances and echoes, her work plays with memory, voices, and telepathic atmospheres in a highly original poetic voice. Ìý
