"Learning Together" brings together people in criminal justice and higher education institutions

Just is

Dr. Emma Gilby (French) is co-ordinating听an outreach programme to take place in Lent term, in听collaboration with the Institute of Criminology. "Learning Together" brings together people in criminal justice and higher听education institutions, and aims to provide听inclusive and听transformative learning communities. Students learn with and from each听other through dialogue and the sharing of experience. In this case, we shall be bringing together 10 students from the French听Section and 10 students from HM Prison听Whitemoor, to study some of our first-year set texts in translation. Dr. Gilby will be working with colleagues Isabelle McNeill, Claire White, John Leigh, Hugo Az茅rad and Tim Chesters, who will each present texts in听their specialist research听area.听

You can hear Drs. Ruth Armstrong and Amy Ludlow (Criminology) talking about the wider "Learning Together" project (starts at 1h44 in).
