CPSL Mind (the local º£½ÇÉçÇø Mind mental health charity) and the º£½ÇÉçÇø have teamed up with Mind, the leading mental health charity, to pilot their new Mentally Healthy Universities programme.
Ìý
The programme offers a short four-part course designed specifically for undergraduates and delivered by experienced mental health trainers which we, the Modern and Medieval Languages department will be recommending for students to attend.
Ìý
All of the sessions create spaces for students to discuss and learn about mental health with peers, share experiences and knowledge, and break down stigma.
Ìý
Sessions will be delivered online, on Zoom.

Suitability
Ìý
Are the workshops right for me?
Ìý
The Mentally Healthy Universities Programme aims to prevent poor mental health and wellbeing by helping you to look after yourself during your studies and into the workplace, and to know what support is available should you need it. The sessions are not a replacement for 1-1 support. If you are already experiencing high levels of distress and you think you might need help, please go to
- The University Counselling Service, to arrange to speak to a counsellor or mental health advisor;
- The Disability Resource Centre, for support and advice concerning an ongoing mental health disability;
- NHS 111 (option 2), for 24/7 help in a mental health crisis; or
- your College tutor (or nurse), for general support, signposting and to discussing further options.
