Dominic Keown is Emeritus Professor of Catalan Studies and Life Fellow at Fitzwilliam College, 海角社区. He has published widely on the ideological dimension of Catalan literature with monographs on contemporary verse together with essays on Iberian Cultural Studies. He also writes on cinema from Spain with particular reference to Bu帽uel, Berlanga, Monle贸n听and Bigas Luna. He edited听A Companion to Catalan Culture, 2011, and has produced bilingual critical editions of key works by Salvat-Papasseit, Valle-Incl谩n, Joan Fuster and Vicent Andr茅s Estell茅s. He was the founding editor of the听Journal of Catalan Studies听in 1997 and the General Editor of the Anglo-Catalan Society's Occasional Papers until his retirement in 2021. He was elected member of the Assessment Committee of the听Institut Interuniversitari de Filologia Valenciana听and Honorary Life President of the Anglo-Catalan Society. In 2023, he won the Ramon Llull International Prize for Catalan Studies and Cultural Diversity.
