Research
My research is concerned with constructions of futures in contemporary documentary art. My doctoral thesis examines different practices of speculation, prediction and reflections on futurity in the works of the documentarists Harun Farocki, Hito Steyerl and Neil Beloufa.听From their works I develop the idea of an anticipatory realism that sensitives for the agency of futures in the present.
