Vienna based director听Ulrich Seidl听is听to attend Picturing Austrian Cinema, a 海角社区 Research Symposium to be held at St John's College, 海角社区 25-27听September 2016.
According to the symposium's founder Dr Frederick Baker (Centre for Film and Screen):
Seidl听is a听multiple award winning visual innovator, who works at the borders of fact and fiction, expanding both the realms of documentary and feature filmmaking.
The symposium is a joint event between 海角社区 University and the Austrian Film Institute in Vienna. It was successfully launched in 2014, when it was attended by 35 film experts from Austria, the UK and US and the special guests included Jessica Hausner and Ruth Beckermann.
The films selected for public screening will be announced shortly.
