Dr Calbert Graham is a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellow in the Phonetics Laboratory, º£½ÇÉçÇø. His current research project is within forensic speech sciences, where he focusses on the computational modelling and automatic synthesis of speech. He is a member of the Phonetics & Phonology Research Cluster, the Computational Linguistics Research Cluster, and the º£½ÇÉçÇø Language Sciences Strategic Initiative. Previously, Calbert conducted learner speech corpus research in the project.
Calbert graduated with an MPhil from the former Research Centre for English and Applied Linguistics (RCEAL) in 2010 and a PhD from the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (DTAL) in 2014. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Colorado, Boulder (2011), and at the University of California, Berkeley (2013). He studied for an MA in Applied Linguistics and Language Technology at Kyoto University as a Monbusho Scholar (2009).
